General Information about Low Myopia Treatment

Near-sightedness, also known as Low Myopia or Short-sighted, is a vision defect caused by the shape and length of the eye. Near-sighted people can see close objects clearly and distant objects appear out of focus. Normally, an image is focused on the retina. The retina is the back part of the eye.
With myopic eyes, the image is focused in front (or short) of the retina and causes blurry vision.
This commonly happens when:
• The eyeball is too long.
• The focusing lens is too strong

The Science

Blurred vision from the eyes can be improved by enhancing brain processing. RevitaVision's neural training is clinically and scientifically proven, unlike eye exercise programs that focus on relaxing eye muscles. During training sessions, a series of visual tasks and repetitive images train the brain and improve visual processing. RevitalVision analyzes performance and continuously adjusts the individually customized training sessions to substantially improve vision.

Will the low myopia treatment work for me?

If your eyewear prescription is up to -1.5 and/or -0.75 astigmatism, RevitalVision may reduce or eliminate your need for glasses.

Why do you limit the program to -1.5 diopter and/or -0.75 astigmatism?

RevitalVision will improve vision even at higher refractive error, but the average improvement of 2.5 VA lines will not be sufficient to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses. Since the starting point is too far from 20/20 vision, optical correction will still be needed despite the improvement.

Does the program involve surgery or medications?

No, RevitalVision does not require any surgery or prescriptive medication.

How much will my vision improve?

The average improvement is 2.5 lines on the eye chart.

I now wear -1.00 Diopters glasses, what will be my prescription at the end of the program?

At the end of the training program, you may reach normal vision of 6/6 (20/20) without your glasses, but the anatomy of your eye will still stay the same. You will see better despite having the same refractive errors.

How long do the results last?

Just like learning to walk, riding a bicycle and learning to swim have a long lasting effects, so does RevitalVision. Clinical studies demonstrates stable improvement 2 years after completing the program.

Is the low myopia treatment safe?

Yes, prior to being released for commercial use, RevitalVision was researched and tested for over 20 years. There are no known risks, side effects or complications associated with the program.
